that literally takes 5 minutes to prepare.
I adapted Martha Stewart's
Asparagus Gruyere Tart
into a bite size yummy treat.
Ham with Asparagus & Gruyere Mini Tarts
1 package of Mini Phyllo Tart Shells
1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup of shredded black forest ham
1 - 1 1/2 cup of steamed asparagus (I used mostly the top third of the spear)
1 cup of shredded Gruyere Cheese
Dash of Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Preheat oven to 350
Thaw Phyllo Shells
Mix cream cheese, ham and asparagus tips and add salt and pepper to taste
Spoon 1 Tablespoon Cream Cheese Mixture into Tart Shell
Sprinkle with Shredded Gruyere Cheese
Top with Drizzle of Olive Oil
Bake in oven for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly!!
Serve Warm
Ooooohhhh YUMMY

Hi Trisha,
Oh, I love Gruyere cheese so these would be a superb treat for moi. You share the greatest recipes; thank you! The teacup is very cute. I always enjoy coming to your party. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely week.
Blessings,
Sandi
Thanks for hosting! I have looked for those Fillo shells in the store and can't find them! I love that you made the tart in the fillo shell instead of how the original recipe was. They look great! I love small food!
Mmmmmm, those tarts look divine! What a lovely tea party finger food!!
Hi Trisha
The footed teacup from your mom is sweet. I think even I could make this recipe and how elegant these would be for my next tea.
Thanks for sharing such scrumptious recipes.
Judith
Ohhh, these looks so good, Trish. If you need help eating them, I may just be available!
What? This is a totally new Meme to me.. :) What am I bringing to tea? My appetite? :) Your recipe sounds wonderful..and looks delicious.
I know I would go nuts trying to find that cheese. I have never heard of it which probably shows my ignorance as far as cooks go.
Wait..I'll ask my daughter. She would know!
:)
Yummy with a capitol Y! And I will be anxiously awaiting more simple ideas for entertaining - you always do the best recipes and projects. Out of curiosity, will Sophia eat these? Isabelle considers cheese in any form to be the devil.
Hugs,
lisa
I'm pretty much obsessed with anything made with phyllo sheets, this sounds delicious!
This does sound rather delicious and perfect for a tea. I will be right over with my mini pb cheesecakes:-)
Yummy, Trish. I love asparagus. I'll have to try these!
Thank you so much for the recipe Trish! Love phyllo doughs and love asparagus. They look so charming...perfect for tea. Love your mom's cup too! Happy Tea Tuesday and thanks for hosting!

Oh, yum! Thanks for the hint to just fill some shells for elegant teatime dining! I never think to do that. I know they have gluten - but - perhaps not quite so much? Actually, having a bout with pain since I overdid the gluten products this past month. Ya! Need to purge and get back on track!
Joy!
Kathy
Those treats look tempting, and your mom's cup is just lovely.
These look fabulous and EASY!
