Because I find neat ideas for
things to do with my daughter.
You my dear are GORGEOUS! |
We have a blast!
And yes, you will be envy of your class at snack time tomorrow! |
While creating these ZOMBIE MARSHIES
we talked about our day.
I told her how PROUD we were of her for
being selected to do the liturgy reading
at her school mass. She ROCKED it!

(The first 2 minutes is Sophia...the rest is of the other 2nd graders in her class)
And more memories and laughs are tucked
away in my heart...and hopefully hers.
And as she drifts off into her cozy slumber,
I am able to relive and capture
this priceless moment in a special way that we
can always have and look back on.
This is why I love blogging.
Thanks Meaghan from The Decorated Cookie Blog
for all your great ideas...
so many have been recreated in this house!

I just cried a little. I clicked over when I saw your subject line on my blog list (you know, so I could be inspired/rejuvenated as this blog stuff can get wearisome) and I saw my zombie! Or, your daughter's rather. Too cute!!! Mission accomplished. Thanks for my link!
Trish, your daughter is precious!! I love this post. My 5 year old son likes to bake and decorate too. Maybe we can chat about an arranged marriage with your daughter...LOL!! Think of the wedding cake we could collaborate on!! Hahaha!
;o)
I love blogging, too, for it gives me a chance to "meet" wonderful people/families like yours and get a glimpse into their lives and what makes them happy........Sophia is such a charming and beautiful little girl. Thanks for sharing. xo
Love this! My kids are my inspiration too and this community rocks! Your daughter is beautiful!
Hi Trisha
Blogging was one of the best things I began too. We do meet new and wonderful friends who share snippets of their lives and as we get to know each other better, look forward to their posts.
As mothers and grandmothers, we share the proud moments of others relating things their children and grands have done.
I guess we're one big happy blogging family!
Tell Miss Sophia her zombie is awesome.

Your darling daughter is so lovely and poised for one so young! Or someone older, for that matter.
You must count that blessing of your daughter every day - she is precious! And we bloggers are a pretty cool community.

What a QT-Pie! I have to agree with you...that is why I loved every minute of being a GScout Leader, room mom, school volunteer, having annual family decorating/food traditions...ALL so that my sweet 'baby' (she is 18 now) would have lots of special memories of us together, forever!
Sweet post, Trisha.
xo
You ROCK as a Mother Trish! And Sophia is such a cutie Pie!
So sweet. This post actually brought a lump to my throat(zombies and all)...it brought back so many memories of when my children were young:) Sigh, it goes so fast!
What a well spoken young lady. you must be proud.
Congratulations to Sophia Rose on a job so well done. Great reading, poise and confidence. Thanks be to God for your precious little girl.
Sophie did do a wonderful job on her reading. She is very well spoken and walks with great confidence. What a loving post and her photographs are just adorable.
I love the mini fillo desserts shells. What a great idea!
The Zombie Marshies are cute, and your daughter is even cuter!
Hehehe, that is very cute! Yeah, you have to thank the countless bloggers out there who always try to do something new. It's difficult to inspire others, let alone have them read your blog. But you have to admit there are just talented bloggers out there who excite you with every new post they create.
