Snowman Shooters and Some Advice

I won't make you wait for the advice.....
you may have heard it before.
But today it bears a different meaning.

Help Me!

DON'T EAT YELLOW SNOW

Let me elaborate.

Many of you are on Pinterest, right?
Me too.

I dink around on there and see all these GREAT,
CREATIVE ideas and think to myself..
SELF...YOU CAN DO THAT BETTER, NEATER
FASTER, STRONGER, CUTER!

Self often dupes oneself.

Have you ever tried to recreate something
you have seen only for it to turn out like this:

Via Pinterest

Well, these little snowman shooters
had such potential.......

Click on this link for source of photo and recipe!

But as you can see, my "snow" looks yellow and
somehow Mr Snowman shooter has become
a warped melted snowman mutant chic.

I am having an identity crisis here!

So then I turned to the cake batter ice cream that
has like 6 inches of ice on it and after I chisel that off
I think I can mask the ugly with some decorative
snowflake sprinkles....

Rainbow sprinkles and Snowflake sprinkles can't take the UGLY out of UGLY.

Nope...still fugly.

So for all of you who have had high hopes
but ended up with fugly...this post is
dedicated to YOUZZZZZ!

(Don't be surprised if you see a post Easter time titled, "Whimsical Spring Chick Ice Cream Shooter"...just act surprised and amazed...OK?)

Sharing sage advice with these great parties you can find links at HERE!!!!!

Tooo funny, Trish! Yes, Pinterest has lots of ideas. I pin them and then say to myself - yeah . . . right . . . like I could really do that . . .

Worth a try in 2012, what do you think?

Hi-larious -- I've had soooo many blog fails of my own. And then the Island of Misfit toys song plays in my head. Yellow snowman needs to be your profile pic--he makes me smile ;0)

Well my dear, yesterday I made some low sugar gluten free sugar cookies that even the dog refused...and she will eat dirty tissues. I had to laugh when you said you would use this for Easter because that was the first thought I had! I am sure they TASTE good, and that is really all that matters!

This post was a real hoot! I have more main course mishaps than dessert ones. Like the other day I flipped a half baked pan of cornbread all over the inside of my oven - don't ask.

This is awesome! Good to know I'm not the only one who sometimes makes something and thinks "what the???" the picture looked way better! Ha! Love it, tho!

I'm so glad to see someone as talented as you have something like the monster cupcakes turn out that way too! SO FUNNY! I actually LOVE the spring chic...I think the best projects and foods come from "accidents". WAY TO MISTAKE!! I'm pinning it on my Easter board ;)
