I am BANANAS over you, Valentine ~ Banana Chocolate Malt Shake with Printable

Banana Chocolate Malt Shakes

I would be LYING if I said I had a
real recipe for this but, truth is, I don't.
I put a couple of questionable bananas in the blender
& heaped in a LOAD of chocolate malt powder, a LOAD.
Next, I sprayed in a LOT of chocolate syrup and
to stay "healthy" added some SKIM milk.
Then some ice went in and I pushed PUREE'

It tasted SO SO SO SO SO GOOD.
Of course drinking it out of these
shot glasses and dipping our marshies
and eating our chocolates, added the amazing
WOWIE factor to this experience.

Try it, you will be so glad you did!

All Colors Matter ~ A Personal Post

My HEART is writing this post, not my HEAD.

So I apologize in advance.

Yes, I am upset and baffled at the Susan G Komen
Planned Parenthood debacle.
Why take away money
from people that obviously goes a long way
to save and improve lives??

BUT....

I have to tell you, if other more RARE TUMORS got 1/2 as much PRESS and MONEY as breast cancer we would be well on our way to prolong the lives of people like ME who have a very rare type of brain cancer.

Research and funding SUCKS for RARE diseases.
Try listening to a team of doctors tell you this is your LAST option.....there is just not enough RESEARCH to PROVE other things will work for you and even if we want to TRY them, insurance won't cover them because of the lack of PROOF because of the LACK of RESEARCH.
Take for example the devastating affects of Colon Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Testicular Cancer or the impact of disorders like pulmonary fibrosis, cardiomyopathies or aggressive neurologic diseases like ALS and Huntington's....
Just to NAME A FEW.
No More Options
Now, THAT is what MANY people hear.
They don't have a huge foundation behind them.
All colors matter.
FEBRUARY 29th is RARE DISEASES DAY
Check it out by clicking HERE!

This is MY LIFE in CUPCAKES today.
This is how I feel in my heart.

and at the end of the day I will not be defeated by an arrow!

Pop on over and say, HI - it would mean a lot!

GROUNDHOG CUPCAKE FUN!!!

I had to share with you some ARCHIVE photos
of these EASY groundhog cupcakes I did
LAST YEAR before I started blogging....

My kid thought the "shadow" was his poo poo.....KIDS THESE DAYS!! HA!

Oh the memories......

To find the printable and inspiration click HERE!

ALSO...HELLO!! I have to give my cupcake pop gone
viral Groundhog a chance to extend his 15 minutes of FAME....

Groundhog Cupcake Push Pop!

Yes...there is still time to make these!

Don't have a push pop?

WHO CARES ~ STOP the EXCUSES!

Assemble them in a drinking glass or mason jar.

To start, you need to whip up the little
candy groundhog inspired by
the idea found HERE at Family Fun.

I used a mini snickers for the body.
Mini M&M's for the ears and nose
Softened pink starburst for his pink nose.
White fondant for eyes and teeth
Black Americolor Marker for eyes

Then bake up some yummy chocolate
mini cupcakes ~ that is the best part!!

I went all out and used a fancy recipe
called Le' Pillsbury Box

Next, whip up a batch of buttercream.
I use a recipe I learned from My Cake School.
Mmmmmmmmm, delish.

Next..assemble your groundhog pop!
Push the mini cupcakes in the bottom.
Layer with Mr Punxsutawney
Add another mini cupcake on top.
Pipe some white "snow" buttercream on top his head.

Or, if you prefer your groundhog out of his hole
place him on top of the buttercream as shown below!

Here you can find Mr. Punxsutawney Phil
pondering his debut...

Will he see his shadow?

Or NOT?

 YO!
