Calla Lily Sandwich for Tea Party Tuesday

Happy Tea Time Tuesday!
This is my favorite blogging day of the week.

It is so much fun bouncing around and seeing what everyone has been up to all week and enjoy all the wonderful inspiration.

I was over the moon this week viewing the series of
French Inspired Cookies
from

Lisa is really quite a talent...and a sweet lady!

There is so much more to see from her so
please pay her a visit (click on her blog name above)
and tell her how GREAT she is!!!

I would like to share this EASY and fun way
to present any sort of cream cheese tea sandwich spread.

As a whimsical Calla Lily of course!

These were so easy and fun to make
and I think the basic spread I used tasted so
much better just because of the pretty presentation.

For a printable how-to click HERE.

I first saw a picture of these viewing the archives
of a great tea blog called Tea and Talk.

I "pinned" it to my Pinterest board and I knew it
was only a matter of time before I made them for myself.

I found a basic how-to at Tasty Kitchen
and adapted it to my own taste.

I have also seen a variation in the book,
Tea For All Seasons
by Shelly and Bruce Richardson

I own and LOVE this book!

And I love a whimsical stack of teacups!

This is a hodgepodge of my "daily use" cups.

But to be honest, I really try to use all of my tea cups.

It is like I treat them as if they have feelings
and I don't want anyone to feel
left out of the Tea Time FUN!

Weird, I know....

I am excited to see what you are bringing
for Tea Party Tuesday this week!

I will be having tea and calla lily tea sandwiches with:

Can you just make me a bouquet of these?

Your calla lilies are the bees knees! Very aratistic - and so pretty you don't want to disturb them for eating. Your tea stack is a stunner - and I do get the part about not wanting to make inanimate objects feel left out or something. I'm the same way with my little bits. The cats, too. I have to pet them the same or feel like one of them got short changed. I don't know . . . OCD, maybe?
Joy!

Trisha, you come up with the most amazing treats for tea time, whether sweet or savoury. The calla lily sandwiches are a great idea. I'm afraid I don't give all my teacups a turn, only my favourite ones - something I should remedy right away.

Your sandwiches are cute! I feel the same way about my cups - they are all equal opportunity cups. I use all of them and when friends come by they can't believe that I would serve them tea in one of my pretties - I tell them "you're worth it" and they feel even more special.
