What is beautiful?

This really touched me and I wanted to share it.

Reading this gave me peace of mind.

I look to this Easter as one that is full of hope
with promises of a new beginning.

Sometimes we just need a gentle
reminder to stop, smell the flowers and enjoy
the company of those around us we love.

This is beautiful, Trisha! I quite agree. I always considered myself to be a person who was filled with compassion for others, until I became ill myself and my son was strung out on drugs.
Living with a chronic illness {MD} and having gone through the teen years with a wayward son {who has turned out marvellously well, I might add} has taught me to be kinder and not so critical of others.
I don't enjoy living with a chronic illness but it has changed me for the better and I know it can always be worse! Indeed, it is so much worse for so many.
Thank you for sharing this.
Happy Easter, my friend!

Blessings and hugs,
Sandi

Thank you Trish for posting this GREAT quote! I NEEDED to read that! I have been struggling with my sister being so sick...not feeling the faith, questioning the Lords "mercy". I am very blessed! And I need to focus on what I CAN do. Happy Easter Dear Friend! thank you for being YOU!

The quote is beautiful and credited to the woman who certainly knew first hand (given her life's work). I believe that a compassionate soul comes from having risen from the depths of despair. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross is so right when she says that beautiful people don't just happen. Things, events, life happens to make people beautiful. You are a beautiful, compassionate soul Teresa and I pray for an Easter full of new beginnings and possibilities for you. It has always been my favourite season as so many times in my life, major changes had their beginnings for me at Easter.
