Grinch Pills ~ Sugar Cookies in a Jar

Lately, I have REALLY wanted to
put something in a jar.

I loved the REINDEER NOSES
seen here at Munchkin Munchies.

I adapted the idea using a fun
Grinch Poem download I found

GRINCH PILLS

I started out putting a HEART in the bottom of the jar.

Then I added the Grinch pills on top

Add your little poem found HERE

These were so popular at our daughter's school
holiday fundraiser - they all sold out
within the first 30 minutes!

Great little gift idea (hmmm, my husband is a little "grinchy" about the holiday so maybe he could use some!). And what a perfect idea for a bake sale or fundraiser - I'm loving it!

I love this! I am 69 years old, and always look forward to the Grinch being on TV...the Boris Karloff cartoon...not the annoying Jim Carry one! Cute idea!!!!

Do you have a recipe to share for the Grinch Pills? This is adorable!

Unknown said...

Eileen I use the sugar cookie recipe here: http://www.kitchengifts.com/nofailsugarcookies.html

I used a 1 inch round cutter and frosted them with royal icing from http://www.sweetsugarbelle.com/blog/2011/04/royal-icing-101-or-all-roads-lead-to-rome/
